Two Mountaineers Receive Big East Honors
To the envy of the facial-hair-challenged everywhere (myself included), Frank Young's gotee was named to the first team All Big East squad. Frank averaged 13.7 ppg at 40.7% from the field, which is only slightly higher than his 38.6% from beyond the arc. The hairy chin scored 85 threes this year or about 3 per game.
Da'Sean Butler was named to the rookie All Big East squad. According to the article, Butler is only the third Mountaineer to be named to the rookie squad. Kevin Pittsnogle, fresh out of the trailer park and just beginning his quest for tatoos, was the last Mountaineer to be so honored. Butler averaged just below 10 ppg (9.9) despite being the Mountaineer's sixth man (48.4% from the field and 35.2% from 3 point land).

I'll second, and it is approved. Those seven hairs you grew over a two-week period were indeed impressive. Coincidentally, Frank grew his existing goat after attending a motivational lecture by Rodney entitled, "Your Seven Hairs: An Uphill Battle Worth Fighting."
Ah, the picket fence of facial hair. Only Joe Dirt had a rougher time with the fu. Rodney also talked to Coach K and told him that if Rodney were to go to Duke, K could never have a grey hair. The rest is history. And that aint natural either.
Not only did he exercise his influence over coach K, he apparently designed to new Nike prototype uniforms. The tight shirts really accentuate the picket fence, and I cannot wait to see how they look with a pencil-thin moustachio. The kind of moustache that says, "yeah, I've been naked on film- what of it?"
I seriously doubt that Rodney would be designing anything with the body hugging qualities of those new uniforms. He did, however, meet with Daniel Ewing, Alaa Abdelnaby, Jeff Capel, and Trajan Langdon recently on a seminar simply entitled, "It's the best!"
He was also the "powers that be" which determined whether or not Virginia Commonwealth would cover the 4 1/2 point spread against George Mason last night. He decided they would, and told GM to turn the ball over frantically in the final two minutes. Thanks Rod.
Gambling on the Colonial Athletic Conference tournament = fantastic.

March madness of a different sort I suppose. No BS- the entire bar at Keglers last night, with only myself and 2 or 3 others excepted, had taken VCU. Outstanding.
I was a little surprised myself, but then I decided to go all in with Santa Clara. woot.
